Customisable booking widget and sequence

We recommend using our room availability grid on your booking sequence as customers are often flexible with dates and can easily see when you have availability if their initial dates are unavailable. We also offer a more traditional single date search for those properties wishing to display bigger pictures of your rooms. Our online booking service is fully responsive - so can be used on any type of device from smart phones to tablets and larger computer screens.

Taking payments online

You can choose to capture guests credit card details and store them in our secure vault until you charge their card. Alternatively you can choose from one of a number of low cost payment gateways that we link with. Using this option payments are made directly into your bank account. Note that additional monthly and transactional charges apply if you use a third party payment gateway service.

freeonlinebooking can normally get you up and running with online booking in a couple of hours. You will need some decent photos of your rooms, and have a clear idea of how you want to sell your rooms. For instance do you wish to sell your rooms on a bed and breakfast or room only basis? Of course you may wish to offer multiple rate plans to give customers some choice. You will also need to put a bit of thought into your room rates and ensure that they are attractive to customers.

Once you have set everything up in freeonlinebooking, it is a simple case of deciding (with our assistance) how you wish your booking sequence to work. You can for instance select the default number of guests, whether you accept children or choose to have a special offer code box displayed or not etc. You also get to choose a colour scheme and booking sequence layout that best suits the design of your website.

The final step is to decide how you wish your online booking system to be integrated with your website. You could have a simple clickable button to open the booking sequence in a new tab or window, use a booking widget (as in the example above) so the customer starts choosing number of guests and search date, or you can even embed the booking sequence within your own website so it looks like part of it. In most cases this will require only mininimal time and effort from your website designer to copy and paste the code onto your website.
